I started freelancing while working as the Advertising Art Director at San Francisco magazine. As my freelance worked picked up, I made the leap and left that amazing job to focus full-time on my own creative studio: Small Dog Workshop.

People often ask me about the name. Fun Fact: I’ve never actually had a small dog (though I love them!). The small dog here is ME. I’m scrappy, energetic and always ready for a challenge—and I call my company a “workshop” because I do a bit of everything. I love providing creative support for anything a business needs to look great and connect with its audience!

I actually run TWO companies. In 2015 I launched the Going To Guides book series for kids and kids at heart published by Orchard Hill Press. I write, illustrate and design these guides to help people get the most out of their Disney park visit. The titles include Going To Disneyland, Going To Disney California Adventure and Going To Walt Disney World about the parks in Florida. You can find them (along with fun merch featuring my art) at GoingToGuides and in my GTG Etsy shop!
